Bijou just turned six months and from month 4-5 we went through a rough time with potty training as well. She was going on mats or out on our balcony on a little grass thing, but I couldn't get her to go outside. What I did was after I fed her I would take her out for ~10 minutes, give the potty command in a grassy area. If she didn't go, she went back upstairs and into her little pen (where she wouldn't go). I'd wait 30 minutes, take her out again to the same spot and repeat. Eventually they have to go badly enough (esp. after eating) that she finally went. After she went once she was pretty good about going again in the same spot but sometimes she'll still go for a full walk outside then come home and go on her grass mat out here. We also got her a jacket for the cold and I don't think she like's going when she's in that - but again, if they have to go badly enough they will!

Good luck! Also - with the mats, we try to only use them when we're gone for a while or if she has to go in the middle of the night. We also went through about a week phase of her ripping some up and peeing right next to them. She stopped doing it quickly though so hopefully it's just a phase. I got two of the washable reusable pads just to try them and she seems to hit those right in the middle consistently - no mess and can't shred.

Also - my guess Oliver has a certain corner he poops in? We had that issue too - just block it off. We have one of these big gates - cleaned the area well with vinegar and kept it blocked off for a few weeks while training and now we took the gate away and she hasn't gone there since.
