My Sapphire ate hair, which she pooped out the next day. Looked like a cat hairball... I was curious and decided to cut it open which was almost impossible to do, but inside all that hair were some undigested coconut chips. I'm sure these could have caused bleeding had she not eaten the hair (her own she pulled out) that had wrapped around the offending chips and protected her intestines.
Just saying I agree with the other members, this could be very serious, and please do get an xray to rule out a blockage....
