A male is not a stud until he breeds..so you have a male Yorkie. Having said that, I hear your frustration..heard the term, Monkey see, Monkey do? Some reluctant males are greatly helped by being around actually breeding studs. When I stared a male at stud I would always allow him to be in the room when I was breeding a female to another stud...not loose, but in a small xpen..
Not all males will breed..it can depend on how spoiled they are or their temperment..best of luck
