There are so many different genes in the Yorkes being sold right now that there is no real way to predict just when they will stop growing.

In general dogs attain 2/3 of their body size by 6 months of age. How long it takes to attain the rest of the body stature can vary. Some are done before 12 months and some may take several more months to become totally mature in their body type.

At 12 months usually most of their height has been achieved but they generally continue to gain muscle and fat until they reach their adult weight. A year old dog generally still needs to continue to mature to a healthy adult weight.
