I've been reading this forum for about a year and have decided to join to introduce myself and new(ish) baby, Ozzy. I'm new to the whole dog thing, my husband and I said we would never own a dog, then we met Bella. Bella is our friend's Yorkie and we fell in love with her. We talked about getting one for about 6 months. We didn't even tell our two daughters (13 & 11) that we were thinking about it. We found a breeder and decided to go for it. Ozzy was born on 4/27/13 and we took the girls to meet him when he was 4 weeks old. It was love at first sniff. We brought him home this summer and our lives will never be the same.
I always thought I wasn't a 'dog' person, but now I realize I'd never met the right dog. I'm still not convinced I'm a dog person, but I KNOW I'm a Yorkie person
