I was all prepared to let the spirit of Christmas pass me by this year. I'm all about being in the bah hum bug spirit, Im just not feeling it. Don't want to be nor can anyone make me. That is until a very kind hearted man showed up at my door with a gift . . For Me !!

I can not express enough how Thankful I am for the wonderful and thoughtful gift that I received yesterday. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised during an unexpected visit from a gentleman in search of a Yorkie. He is such a kind hearted man who touched my heart when he told me of the story about his beloved Muffin who had recently passed away. We exchanged several heartfelt emails, text messages and phone calls since that day he found me during his search for a new Yorkie pup to love and spoil just as he had done with his little Muffin.

So, fast forward months later, he calls me and asked if her could stop by with the gift , he said it was something that he knew that I would enjoy and appreciate and that I must have and insisted that I accept it. Ok, So, not wanting to sound unappreciative an say no that it was not necessary, I graciously agreed. So, 15 mins later there he is this gray haired gentleman who I have shared several wonderful heart felt emails, text messages and phone calls with and now here he is standing in my drive way with this huge smile on his face. So I walk out on the porch and greet him and say Mr. D". Thinking what on earth could it be, I figured flowers of course he owns a floral shop. But no, he showed up at my door with the most beautiful and thoughtful gift portraying the Yorkie breed that I have ever seen. I was in tears over the fact that here stands this gentle, kind hearted, soft spoken man who I have never met before offering me this Beautiful gift.

We talked for a short while I thanked him over and over again and than off he goes leaving me with this Beautiful gift standing on the porch in tears ! (tears of Joy)

It just amazes me the generosity of this man who I until yesterday I had never met. A stranger, with a heart of Gold who will forever be a part of our Yorkie family. I feel so blessed to have met him and will continue enjoying our brief little conversation as our friendship grows.
