You are correct though...with a delay you are looking at bone grafting...more money and more pain for the pup.


I know you would think the vets would know the 5% chance of healing. I wasn't even given surgery as a choice. They just casted her up and sent us on our way. I was such an idiot for not checking into it more. When they took the cast off and said it didn't work and I was told to amputate by dumb vet I said no way and I sent the xrays to another vet. They were appalled they cast it. The other vet wanted me to report them. Good news is she runs around like a little nut all healed
