yes I received the same paper you are speaking of for sami, Your puppy is not officially registered until you send for an offical AKC Registration Certifcate! In addition with registration you are offered a gold package & silver package, for a fee I opted for the silver for a Three generation AKC - certified Pedigree Certificate
update "Sorry" I didn't catch the ABA part
But I would think it would be identical to register your ABA puppy?
