It really depends on your area but I would say $1,000 to $2,500 for a pup from a reputable breeder. You can look for reputable breeders at ytca.org. Reputable breeders do all available health and genetic testing possible, the do not breed females under 5 pounds, they have a spay and neuter contract, they will not let puppies go home before 12 weeks, they will be AKC registered, they do not use the word teacup or micro, they don't breed mixes, and they are willing to answer any questions you have.
