i would suggest clearing out the kc and then going back for a ct check to be sure..as mine had kc when she came to me but after it fully cleared up she was then diagnosed with ct which at this time we only treat with watched playtime and ruff housing activities. I also did find the pellet stove dries the air out and our humidifier died, i had to get a new one as it was causing her to cough more than her usual episodes. wishing you the best and hoping it is not ct.
