 Puppy fell off bed
Hey everyone my names ally and I'm new here. I've come across your website because I've been looking up on broken limbs. I have a roughly 8 month old morkie named derpy who got hurt yesterday. She fell off the bed and whimpered my mom took her straight to the emergency vet where they told us (that ankle like part) of my dogs front paw broke. They put her in a splint cast and said surgery is recommended but if we decide not to get it she should heal perfectly fine, that the bone might heal not 100 percent straight but she won't be in pain and she'll be able to walk. We're away at the moment so it was an emergency vet we didn't trust and are going to take hers to ours when we get home but we still don't know if well be able to afore It as she just had surgery 3 months ago on her back leg because she was born with a hip joint defect. I want to know if anyone has delt with these things before? How much the surgery cost you? If you opted out and how it healed without the cast? What you did every day to take care of your puppy? And especially how you got them to go to the washroom as she is pad trained but can't put weight on her leg to do so. We held her on it supporting her leg but no go |
