Thanks for your reply, bjh. Yes, she's been neuteured when she was 6 months old.
Other occasions I've seen her do this have was with one other dog she knows and seems to like a lot (a large male dog). Usually, she either greets dogs she knows, plays catch if appropriate (like if she is off leash in a big area) or simply ignores a dog she does not like, or approaches a new dog, greets and goes away.
