Girl dogs can mark too. Neutering does not guarantee that a dog won't mark. My neutered boys mark outdoors on walks. I inadvertently encouraged this by praising them for pottying outdoors. I don't mind as long as they don't do it inside.
It's a matter of training.
I hope George, your Schnauzer, has adequate shelter outdoors. Is there a reason he doesn't live indoors with you?
