 Bloody stool, doesn't eat, indigestion issues
Hi, my 6 yr old t-cup yorkee hasn't eaten in two days, her stomach is making sounds of indigestion, she had a dark/bloody stool that was very loose, she seems uncomfortable and doesn't want anything...I gave her some indigestion chewable a similar to peptobsmall and keep giving her lots of water through a syringe because she wouldn't drink herself. She's had indigestion problems in the past, had x rays done, took all kinds of meds her vets have been prescribing but this is an ongoing issue for a couple of yrs. comes and goes off and on. Tried switching her to different foods-works for a while but then goes back to same problems. She's on Fromm's game bird grain free diet-it's been working ok but not anymore I guess. Maybe she's allergic, maybe she eats something off the floor, I don't know anymore! Please help!!!! |
