I'm glad you brought your baby to the vet and that she is improving with the meds.
There is a saying on Yorkie Talk -- don't mess around when it comes to eyes. I strongly agree. Conjunctivitis can be caused by many things. It is always best to have a vet examine the eyes and determine the best treatment.
My boy had corneal ulcers. Many home remedies can make ulcers worse, leading to blindness or loss of the eye.
