Exactly! This is why I feel so much pain for the dog when someone drops them off at the shelter for no good reason. The poor dog has to be so confused and afraid and abandoned to be put in a cage with strange noises and smells and a sense of being around other afraid and depressed dogs. And they don't know what happened to the home that they thought was their forever safe place with their "forever" family. It makes me so sad when they are dropped there just because they have become an inconvenience to some thoughtless person.
