HI, Neecy I too live in SC.....I disagree with Artie I have always had female Yorkies they are much better dogs. They behave much nicer than males. I own a toy Yorkies and was given to me for christmas. I love her like a human lol. I now have two..both females. I am planning on getting a male in the near future. I would like to do an occasional breeding. So you would be better off to get a female they are much sweeter. So I am on the lookout for a male. I'm in no hurry though. I'm enjoying my two babies...!
