You may have already read this but here is a link to an article about Finding a Reputable Breeder:
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/bre...e-breeder.html
This article is very good. One place to consider is
www.ytca.org the National Club for Yorkshire Terriers. They do have a breeders listing page. But like any breeder you still need to research them out.
There is an old adage; Buy your breeder first, then wait for a puppy from them.
All my time on this board, and my experience in this world; is to do your research first on the breeder, then get a short list of those breeders you want to contact through email or phone. Go to dog shows, see the breed, meet the breeders if that is possible for you. Getting a very good dog at this late date from a great breeder, is well basically pretty slim odds.
But if you can for yourself before Christmas have winnowed through the breeders, and have communicated with, and maybe even have submitted a puppy application form, that is achievable I think.
If you have done all this, and it is a big task; put under your Xmas tree, a gift certificate for you and from you; maybe this time next year I will have my healthy lovely puppy to love and adore.
I wish you much luck with your search.
