Cathy, before making a decision about your regular vet, think about who made the decision. I once had a problem with an employee of my vet .. long story, but to make it short, I wrote a letter to my vet and her partner. I informed them that if the rules set down by their fairly new employee were their rules, then I would be moving along. I received an apology and that employee shaped up quickly. She did not last long at the place, but that was bound to happen the way she was acting. To quote a doctor I once knew who kept having receptionist issues, "Good help is hard to find". |
Thanks, yes I do think it was a receptionist's decision. But common sense tells one, or should, that when a client's file is as thick as the Encyclopedia Britannica, maybe the vet should make that decision to see or not to see a patient... lol. I'll give this much thought before deciding, maybe I'll use both, one for the small stuff and one for the major stuff... ha, or whoever can see us first!
