Listen to youR vet. Grade I is the least dangerous of heart murmurs. When we first got Bubba he had kennel cough that led to pneumonia. Therefore his grade II was not heard on his original vet checks. Bubba is now 8yrs old (will be 9) in January. He is very active-squirrels are the enemy- and has no problems. The murmur is still there but does not effect his daily life.
