I used the book How to Housebreak Your Dog in 7 Days. Amazon has it for kindle. Of course it took longer than 7 days. We got our rescue, Anna, at 6 years old in May and Barney was around 5 months. I used it for both of them. I followed the schedule very closely. For a week, I did nothing but follow them around jotting down every time they ate, drank, peed, or pooped. I consistently followed the schedule all summer. They are now pretty much accident free unless it's raining. Happy training and welcome to YT. You will love this site.
