I have a letter from my Dr along with a copy of all immunizations with me at all times stating that my Yorkie is an Emotional Support Dog! I also have small ID Tags stating the same. By law they can not ask what your disability is. I too have high anxiety since the death of our daughter but Hope has been the best therapy! I have never been questioned & she's even been permitted to stay in a non pet hotel once I've shown them the paper work. Hope has also gone through 3 courses & will be taking her Canine Good Citizenship test along with the Therapy Dog test in the spring! Praying for you! Speak with your Dr about getting a letter in writing & YES, it does have to be updated every year with current dates. Hope this helps! |
