Joey was overweight after a tricks training class and the vet said to cut his food by 1/3 and add about 5 green beans to help fill him up. I use frozen green beans and thaw them and cut them in small pieces. He lost about an ounce a week and you can also use the green beans as treats for training. You can also play fetch with one of her meals and make her retrieve a ball or toy for a piece of kibble or green bean. |
