Well, I wouldn't push it too much with her. It sounds like she is still dealing with some security issues. Some little dogs never notice how small they are but it sounds like yours is a bit intimidated by her size...or lack of size.

Still treats are a good way to work with her. Try to build up her confidence. Do little things with her that will make her feel more self confident and give her those treats for even the smallest things. It's a great encouragement for them.

Gracie used to be afraid of squeaky toys at that age. Now she is will take on any squeaky toy that comes her way!
