I used a little moustache trimmer razor thing to trim Bailey's ears up starting when he was 4 or 5 months old. His breeder suggested it, and the vet told me that it was good to keep their little ears trimmed b/c it helps reduce the risk of ear infections and that nasty kind of stuff and said that he was glad I started him doing it. That way he'd be used to it. His ears popped up within 2 or 3 days of trimming the fur, and if you have someone hold them and distract them with a treat they're as good as gold, or at least Bailey was
