Comfortis was the only thing that ever worked on Minnie (12 lbs) for me. Right now Cookie (6.5 lbs) is on it also, and it works pretty well. Before my vet put her on Comfortis she was just getting eaten alive by fleas. My neighborhood has tons of outside dogs and the area is pretty warm and humid, so I imagine it's a perfect place for fleas to thrive.
