Like Schooby mentioned, Weruva is a very good canned food, looks like real food. I also like The Honest Kitchen, it's a dehydrated food which you add warm water to rehydrate it. The food is all ground up, so it's considered a soft food. Grandma Lucy's is a freeze dried food, my guys love it (except Mimi, she gets party animal canned food)...they've been eating it for about a week now so can't really tell you how it is, but they love it. It's kind of like oatmeal, warm soft blob gooey, perfect for winter! You can order sample sizes from their site. |
I retract my suggestion for Grandma Lucy's, the Pureformance line anyway...I know all dogs are different, but it gives my 3 strange poopies (huge & soft). I was really trying to give them a break from kibble but Grandma is not working out. I trust Mimi's taste buds, if she doesn't like it, there's something off w/the food. Mimi loved Weruva but stopped eating that too after awhile. Now she's enjoying the lamb flavors of Party Animal.
