My dog has bad manners when it comes to peeing (he wants to mark the entire world as "his"), so if we are out somewhere, I just don't put him down or I have to watch him like a hawk, every single second, and snatch him up if he looks like he is even thinking about peeing on something. To give myself some peace & to allow myself to have fun when I take him with me to see friends or visit family, I invested in belly bands. I think if that person had come over to my house, the 1st time he peed, I would have asked her if she had a belly band & if not, I would have slapped one of mine on him, and he would have worn it until he left. (I use a feminine napkin inside it to protect the band itself from the pee).
If MY dog pees in MY house, that is MY problem. If YOUR dog pees in my house, I have an issue. Especially if you don't stop immediately, whip out your bottle of nature's miracle that you MUST carry if you know your dog has bad manners, and clean up the mess.
