Apparently, it can also happen in young adult dogs. Vets often misdiagnose Strangles for something else...my Dad's vets said it's bc they almost never see it. |
Btw, my Dad's dog was treated w/ steroids for Strangles. She still gets them about 1 x per year at which time they again start steroids immediately.
