I watched on TV news last night about a new treatment for IBS, diverticulitis, other bowel issues, fecal transplants are being done very successfully! Yes you read this correctly!! FECAL transplants!! Seems they inject contents of colons, along with the normal flora that is in the colon, transplanted into the colon of someone suffering with IBS or diverticulitis, etc......meanwhile, back at the ranch, they are working at getting the bacteria spearated out, dried in powdered and put into pills.....I suspect vet schools around the country will be looking at this new treatment for use in our pets...... |
