I also wonder if the vet checked for a micro chip? There is a current thread here "please pray" concerning a Yorkie that was missing for 5 years and was found recently when a person who rescued him took him to the vet and a chip was found. Obviously he had been very mistreated for much of the time he was missing. He was looking very bad and most of his teeth were bad but his original owner had been missing and mourning her little darling for 5 years. Needless to say she was shocked to hear that her little boy had been found.
I'm so glad you took this poor little girl in. The odds are that she does not have a chip but it would be good of you to check into it....just in case some poor Yorkie owner is still wondering what happened to their much loved pet. |
