I too thought it really odd that the family would want to leave a safe place...I mean, what? Why? Didn't make sense to me. He's going to become obsessed with that little girl...she is his replacement daughter. Yikes.

I can see Daryl evolving into a great leader, if he was forced into that role. He doesn't like the spotlight, but I think he'd make a great leader. Hershel is pretty good, but his emotions can cloud his logic/sense. Maggie might be a good leader, but not quite yet. Heck, I think Carl is an old would probably make a better leader than most of the adults, lol!
