I had it happen with Minnie one time. She was outside running in the yard and just fell to the ground screaming for a minute. Then she did it a couple more times while walking and I was worried sick. Took her into my vet in the morning and she had some kind of mineral deposit or something in her back. He gave her a shot and some steroids I think, and she was good to go after and it never happened again. It amazes me how good my vet (Joe Jaksik DVM in Adkins, Texas) is at diagnosing and fixing problems with my girls. I was beside myself that day having no idea what was wrong with my girl.
