I purchased a recipe from Dr. Remillard at petdiets.com. We use sweet potatoes, chicken, and green beans. I can sub in butternut squash but any other changes can cause problems. I also use Balanceit as a supplement.
I do not alternate between the two. I feed the I/D when she has an episode with throwing up or diarrhea. I think home cooking has been so good for Rosie. Even better than the I/D.
