Hey guys,
I introduced myself awhile back, but haven't really posted much since then, so I'd like to reintroduce myself and our excitement. My name is Julie and live in Texas. I have been happily married for almost 24 and we have 2 beautiful boys (ages 18 and 8). Up until this point we have been a cat family because somewhere along the line I developed an allergy to dogs. My kids have always begged us for dogs, but I just thought there was no hope of having them because of the affect they have on me. I discovered that there are some breeds I'm not allergic to and so fast forward until now. About a month and half ago our cat of 15 years died. It was really hard, especially on my youngest. So my husband and I decided to surprise the boys with 2 yorkies! We are picking them up on Saturday evening and I'm just giddy with excitement and had to share!
I'm sure I will be filled with questions as we go along. I really have enjoyed reading the posts here. Thanks all!
