Just had stitches out last Friday from my baby . She is 6 months and barely 3 lbs. I laid in bed with her For 2 days cause that is all she wanted was my skin....and it was a good way to hold still.... First day was the toughest.. She smelled so bad....my vet said try to get something in her stomach but just a bit like a half tsp every hour for 4 hours then go from there. She still threw up , I gave her chicken and rice, so then I tried canned pumkin and she loved it , it stayed down and then I went to the chicken and Rice and next day kibble. You can tell when they start feeling better to increase portions.I would try the pumkin first to calm down the stomach...
But that first day she didn't even know me

Also when she seemed interested in nosing around down there my vet suggested 100% Aloe Vera gel to the area to gently soothe and it worked so well.....really comforted her....
I did the onesie too.....
Other wards try and keep busy that day, time will fly and you can go get her and baby her like crazy!
Good luck!
