Thank God they are all safe and even their dog survived, all though traumatized. I know everyone says the house and everything else can be replaced/repaired, but while that is true, it is a horrible emotional impact to realize everything you have worked for, built up together as a family, treasured for many, many years, is suddenly GONE, destroyed, non existant......I am so sorry for all those poor people, of course including your cousin and family......just watching on TV....those HUGE piles of shattered wood and concrete and smashed furniture.....where does a person even begin to get started?????????
