I can relate to your concerns about havering your dog taken out of your site. My family has been going to the same vet clinic since 1950s (all five of the original vet's children are now the vets there). I grew up with many of those children who are now the vets and I still do not like it when they take Cali out of my sight
.
I do understand that they do not want to do procedures in a room that many dogs(some who have been very ill) have been in despite disinfecting, and prefer to treat them in a room that is specifically cleaned etc. for treatments.

Openly discuss your concerns with them so they understand how you feel. There are compromises that might be able to be made.
