Buy lean pieces of meat, make a healthy chicken, enough for both of you. Since you do the cooking you can probably sneak in all kinds of healthy stuff and he won't realize it. My challange is that hubby does the cooking. I'm trying to convert him, but he specializes in hot dogs, mac and cheese and cheeseburgers. He has started making lots of veggies with the meals for me but now that I'm eating healthy it kills me to see him and the kids eating this stuff. (Nothing like a reformed junk food junkie) |
Teri, you're SO GOOD!! I encourage EVERYONE to do what Teri suggested above!! And it's a good idea to get the kids eating healthy NOW while they are still under your influence!!
