I watched a tv programme 'over here' a few weeks ago about just this...what our dogs do when their owners are away from home.
Quite a few of them pooped or peed almost immediately, even though all of them had been out to potty only minutes previously.
The nightmare of this is that it's on the bed...is it worth covering it with some sort of rubber-backed sheeting and tucking it firmly in? Must be awful keep having to wash everything!
