Are you wanting to BREED these large specimens back into "common existance", or do you want a large Yorkie? I have a large Yorkie, but he is not registered, and he will be neutered so he wont be bred. I can appreciate people liking the larger Yorkies....I love them when I end up with one....I love to sell these larger Yorkies to families with children, as these dogs make GREAT pets for kids. Some people have said they love these larger Yorkies because they are an active family, hiking, biking, boating, camping, hunting....and they love the larger size as they do not feel like they are as "fragile" and can keep up better. I am thrilled these wonderful babies can find homes with loving families....they are wonderful Yorkies with the temperment, attitude, love, devotion, and loyality of our smaller sized Yorkies. But I think it is going to be very difficult to find a reputable breeder that will deliberately breed for these larger Yorkies, UNTIL there is a definate size variation established within the Yorkie breed, as in, for example, Beagles or Poodles, etc......
