Ellie rarely goes to pet stores, Usually I carry her to try and prevent the need to clean up. lol. But sometimes she will poop from my arms she gets so excited.
Anyway, I do let her be a dog. She is vaccinated for the things I'm most concerned about. Heck, dogs eat poop and lick their butts. So she is allowed to be on the ground if I feel like dealing with it. We don't do dog parks, but not sio much because of diseases transferred from other dogs. Germs are everywhere, including the sidewalk in front of our house. Not going to live in fear over that. An uncaccinated or severely immunocompromised dog would be different... |
Very true. Especially since Kaji LOVES to go to these stores and just say hi to all the doggies. I'd feel bad taking that away from him. However, if he was sick, he would definitely not go to the stores with me.
