The Immune system in your dog, is not predicated or based on how many germs/diseases/filth you pup comes in contact with. They are born with an immune system.....Provided there is no genetic issue at birth where the immune system is compromised, you enhance their system with available vaccines, given properly.....and in most cases, this will keep your dog protected, IF the dog did not have a compromised immune system to start with.....or developed a compromised immune system through some disease process or the treatment received for a disease process. I do not feel the need to take the risk of possibly letting my dogs get exposed to diseases that are shed in places where dogs with questionable/unknown vaccine protocols/records are wondering around. I do not think such exposure does anything for my pup's immune systems, which are already established and protected and enhanced without such exposure..... I may be completely incorrect, (I would need a credible immunologist to explane to me my error in thinking as I do) but I dont think so....and I sleep better at night knowing my babies have not been exposed to those areas!
