I don't take Callie all that often mostly just for pet events at like Petco and Petsmart. I take her to the locally owned pet store more often probably. She is vaccinated so I feel safe letting her do it and she absolutely loves it and dogs lives are short so as long as its not hurting her I like for her to do as much as she can that she loves. I do use a sanitary spray on her paws after words most of the (time its made for dogs). If there is a dog that seems aggressive I just pick her up and we move on. I have done a lot or reading and research on dog body language so I feel like I know when its safe to be around a dog or not. Callie would hate being locked up in the house all the time she loves going places. We don't visit dog parks as often because Sammy comes over now and they run and play a lot and I was unhappy the last time we went with someone bring a aggressive dog they knew was aggressive into the dog park. My dog is vaccinated and her immune system is not compromised so I feel very safe.
