Sorry I didn't post when I got back from Dr. but I am so busy at work and home and still can't walk.
I now have an ankle brace that must weigh about 30 lbs and goes up to just under my knee. I am able to walk on it for a few hours a day and then have to go back on crutches this I have to do for the remainder of the week. I can then start going longer without them. I have another brace I have to wear when sleeping. I can't wait for this da*n thing to heal. I am not good at sitting still and this is driving me nuts. Needless to say Mac & Mellie are terrified of the crutches.
