Just finished reading another post where one dog isn't being nice to another dog. At least your dog is only ignoring the other --and not being mean.
The few times I have brought a new puppy home, my other dogs have been jealous and not too friendly at first, but within a week or two they have always become fast friends and have stayed wonderful friends for years.
I can't imagine how you can get a dog to "play with another dog" if he doesn't want to. Maybe the puppy will eventually win the other dog over. Time will tell.
