Gina got her stitches out today, and her belly looks great. Thanks all of you who suggested the preemie onesies, she never tried to lick her stitches during the whole time. She did lose 3 ounces, but the vet chalked it up to lessened activity, and less hunger, since she wasn't allowed to run around as much. She is doing great, and seems to be happy that the stitches are gone.
