I thought the teddy bear face had longer muzzles & the babydoll face had shorter muzzles. But yes, these terms would be used as a marketing ploy from some unscrupulous breeders just to make more $. Reputable breeders do not use these words. I know in this case, it's just to describe a certain look.
The Durrer Yorkie line has the shorter snout look w/huge eyes, like Ann's cutie Marcel.

I guess my Mimi & Turbo would be teddy bear faces. When Turbo was a puppy, he had a very short snout, but he grew to have a longer snout. (pics in album, you can click on their names on my siggy)

Here's Momo @ 9weeks old & now @ 5 years old. He has a short muzzle/snout: teddy bear? fox nose-momo-9-weeks-old.jpgteddy bear? fox nose-dscn1430.jpg

This is Princess, she has a foxy look to her (loll maybe it's her big ears), she has very delicate features w/the pointy muzzle/snout. I don't have any good pics of her when she was a puppy, I lost a lot of their pics when I had to reformat my puter. But she did have a pointy nose as a puppy too.: teddy bear? fox nose-dscn0406.jpgteddy bear? fox nose-dscn1646.jpg most recent pic @ 4 years old (she just turned 5 last month).
