I'm so sorry about your pup. I travel about 22 miles to see Dr. Jay Wen at Hampton Veterinary Hospital, and he is amazing. Once your pup is well, I highly recommend him. Over the past fifteen yearsI have met many people who travel to his practice from the tristate area, many even further than that. I will call tomorrow to see if they can recommend anyone. Have you considered taking your baby to the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan? They have excellent doctors and I think they are reasonably priced. I realize that's far from you, too. I might also check with Long Island Veterinary Specialists in Plainview.
