Hello everyone Boy did I have a scare yesterday. I came home from running errands and my little guy louie who is 15 weeks old was just lying on his side in his kennel. I opened the door he didn't run out to me or anything he just laid there. I picked him up he couldn't even hold his head up. I rushed him to the vet and here he had low sugar it was like 46 and its supposed to be in the 90-100'. So they gave him a syringe full of sugar water very small amount of karo syrup with the rest of water. after about 15 minutes he was back to his wild puppy self
. The vet said these little guys are more prone to this and hopefully he will grow out out if. So now if he seems real lifeless. just give him a syringe full of the sugar water and he should be fine. But for sure don't mistake being sleepy or something more serious as it being low sugar I would take him to the vet to check first. Just thought this might help someone on here
